Explanation:
The City of Hollywood held its second annual Photo Contest from August to October 2013. Ninety-six entries were received.
Each photograph was scored on creativity and originality, quality of composition and overall design, overall impression of the art and how well Hollywood was depicted in each photo.
The photo contest judges were: Jane Hart, Curator of Exhibitions at the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood; Susan Ostheim, South Broward High School Art Teacher and Richard Roberts, Director of the City of Hollywood's Records and Archives Division.
In the category for age 12 and under, the winners are:
1st Place - Alec Smith
2nd Place - Paulina Reitman
3rd Place - David Vazquez
In the category for age 13 to Under 18, the winners are:
1st Place - Kiara Tavares
2nd Place - Katherine Haynick
3rd Place - Delaney Justus
In the Adult Category, the winners are:
1st Place - Luis Ochoa
2nd Place - Nadeen Barnett
3rd Place - Ben Van Arsdale
