Explanation:

Personal Protective Equipment/Bunker Gear is utilized by firefighters during firefighting activities. The Fire Rescue and Beach Safety Department is requesting an increase to the Blanket Purchase Agreement in order to purchase additional Personal Protective Equipment (Bunker Gear), Fire Helmets, Fire Hoods, Fire Boots, and other miscellaneous items for our existing firefighters and the SAFER Grant firefighters from Municipal Equipment Company.

 

Fiscal Impact:

Funding for this Blanket Purchase Agreement is available in the FY 2022 Operating Budget and included in the amended FY 2022 Capital Improvement Plan in account numbers
