Explanation:
DRMP, Inc., currently provides engineering support services to the Engineering, Transportation and Mobility Division for building permit plan reviews. In April of 2023, an engineer position became vacant and additional staff augmentation became necessary.

On September 1, 2021, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2021-208 that authorized the City to execute Continuing Services Agreements with the highest-ranked firms based upon 10 disciplines to provide engineering services for Citywide projects.

Subsequently, DRMP, Inc., was chosen, among other firms, to provide the requested services pursuant to that certain agreement with the City, dated November 29, 2021, ("Contract").

Currently, the services are being provided under a Consultant's Authorization to Proceed approved by the City Manager on November 14, 2022, in the amount of $97,570.00. With the additional services proposal, the contract amount will be increased by $44,924.00 from $97,570.00 to $142,494.00.

In accordance with Section 38.48 of the Procurement Code, City Commission approval is required, as the contract amount to DRMP, Inc., exceeds $100,000.00.
The Acting Director of Development Services and the Director of Procurement and Contract Compliance recommend that the City Commission authorizes the appropriate City officials to execute a change order of the Contract with DRMP, Inc., based upon the project scope and fee and the terms and conditions of the Agreemen...
