Explanation:
The City has engaged the law firm of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, P.L. to provide legal services in various matters, including labor and employment. The fees accrued for various matters handled by Weiss Serota are approaching $100,000.00, and the City Attorney estimates that by the end of FY2022, they will exceed $100,000.00. Therefore, the City Attorney recommends that the City Commission approve the expenditure of an amount not to exceed $150,000.000 for various matters, including labor and employment.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this agreement will be available in the Fiscal Year 2022 operating budget in account numbers 001.020101.51400.531220.000000.000.000 and 001.020101.51400.531260.000000.000.000.
