Explanation:

The Information Technology Department along with various other City departments routinely need to purchase various hardware and software to replace obsolete equipment, improve operations and processing capacity, and enhance cyber-security efforts.

The requested systems are available from Timeclock Plus, LLC. The additional funds are necessary to complete the rollout of a biometric time clock system to be used by City employees.

Expenditures are on an as-needed basis and are contingent upon budget approval.

The approved Blanket Purchase Agreement will be available for use by all City departments.

Fiscal Impact:

A portion of the funding is made available in a companion resolution (budget amendment) that will allocate funding in account number 557.130101.51900.531170.000000.000.000 for the purchase of a time clock system and will be requested in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.

This Blanket Purchase Agreement is for citywide usage and additional funding will be identified on an as needed basis by each respective department subject to available funds.
