Explanation:
Memorial Hospital was given approval to use one (1) parking space within the Garfield Street right-of-way just west of North 35th Avenue, to facilitate truck deliveries for loading/unloading zone to the medical office building. This space was approved for the deliveries due to the new roundabout at the intersection of Garfield Street and North 35th Avenue which was designed as part of the Interlocal Agreement.
Memorial Hospital desires to continue to utilize the public right of way for the foregoing purposes and is requesting the City enter into a new License Agreement for another four year term. An annual rental fee to $195.00 is recommended and in consideration of the request, South Broward Hospital District d/b/a Memorial Healthcare System (Memorial Hospital) will continue to maintain the required liability insurance, indemnify and save harmless the City and abide by the terms and conditions specified in said Agreement;
