Explanation:

The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts (“PRCA”) provide licensed after school child care programs at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Kay Gaither and McNicol Community Centers.

 

PRCA seeks non-matching grant funding from The State of Florida, Department of State/Division of Early Learning Through Early Learning Coalition of Broward County, Inc. Child Care Stabilization Subgrant Program for facility improvements, supplies and equipment.

 

Fiscal Impact:

If approved, grant funding in the amount of $54,000 will be appropriated in the FY2022 Operating Budget for after care services as detailed in Exhibit 1.
