Staff Recommends:  Approval of the attached Ordinance

 

 

Explanation:

This Ordinance seeks to amend Section 41.08(A) of the Code of Ordinances requires that the Employers’ Liability Program provide coverage for employers’ liability with a limit not less than $3,000,000.00 per incident.  The City Manager and the Director of Human Resources have recommended that the City Commission reduce the required coverage for employers’ liability to $1,000,000.00 per incident.
