Explanation:
The State Housing Initiatives Partnership ("SHIP Act"), S.S. 420.907- 420.9079, Florida Statutes, and Rule 67-37, Florida Administrative Code, requires local governments to develop a one to three-year Local Housing Assistance Plan outlining how the allocated funds will be used.

In addition, local governments must annually report on the new and existing housing benefiting from awards made pursuant to the funding.

This year the Florida Housing Finance Corporation is requesting that all local governments present the SHIP-AR at a public meeting of the local Governing Body.

The Department of Community and Economic Development has prepared a SHIP-AR and is presenting it to the City Commissioners prior to submitting the document to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation.
