Body

Staff Recommends: Approval of the Attached Ordinance.

Explanation:

The City Commission previously approved Ordinance No. O-2018-18 which repealed regulations relating to provisional parking lots and required that provisional parking lots without permits cease and desist operations within 90 days of the Ordinance. At the February 20, 2019 City Commission meeting, the City Commission directed Staff to amend the Ordinance to extend the allowable timeframe for provisional parking lots without permits. As such, Staff has amended the Ordinance to extend the timeframe for provisional parking lots without permits to September 30, 2019, or 30 days from the completion date of the Nebraska Street Parking Garage, whichever is earlier.
