Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts ("PRCA") recommends the purchase and installation of safety surfacing and shade structures along with the installation of fitness equipment to create a fitness zone, in partnership with Memorial Health Services at ArtsPark.
The desired equipment was competitively bid by Sourcewell, Cooperative Purchasing Advantages, through Request for Proposal No. 010721-GRN, Outdoor Fitness Equipment with Related Accessories and Services on November 12, 2020, and awarded to Greenfields Outdoor Fitness, Inc. ("Greenfields") under Contract No. 010721 ("Contract").
The current term of the Contract is from February 6, 2025, through February 5, 2026; and Greenfields has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract.
The Director of PRCA and Chief Procurement Officer recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the issuance of a Purchase Order to Greenfields for the purchase of fitness equipment, safety surfacing and shade structures in an amount up to $334,433.02.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this project was included in the amended FY 2026 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account numbers 334.309901.57200.563060.001855.000.000, 335.309901.57200.564531.001855.000.000, and 301.309902.57200.564531.001855.000.000.
