Explanation:
In a City of Hollywood special election held on March 12, 2019, voters approved a variety of projects to be funded by a General Obligation Bond. The Department of Design and Construction Management (DCM) has been tasked with the restoration and improvement of the Hollywood Beach golf course and club house, which was approved by the voters as one of the projects to be funded by the General Obligation Bond.
On January 20, 2021, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2021-022, ranking golf course architecture consultants selected under Request for Qualification RFQ-4652-20-DCM, and authorizing the appropriate City officials to negotiate an agreement with the highest ranked firm, RMGA, Inc., d/b/a Richard Mandell Golf Architecture.
On May 19, 2021, the City Commission passed and adopted Resolution No. R-2021-106, approving and authorizing the appropriate City officials to execute the Professional Services Agreement with RMGA, for golf course architecture consulting services for the Hollywood Beach Golf Course and Clubhouse project in an amount not to exceed of $356,205.00.
On June 15, 2021, the Contract for Consulting/Professional Services between the City of Hollywood and RMGA was executed.
