Explanation:
The City and the Hollywood Professional Firefighters, Local 1375 have negotiated a successor Collective Bargaining Agreement in effect from October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2028 (the “Agreement”).
The highlights of the changes include:
In wages, provided annual increases for each year of the contract and updated salary tables as follows: FY26 = 4%, FY27 = 4% and FY28 = 4% with an exception that the FY26 wage increase becomes effective the first full pay period in January, 2026 and shortened the 18 year longevity to year 16; Removed the exclusion of rescue assignment pay from the 27% incentive cap.
In Emergency Rescue Services & Assignment Pay, an annual incentive of $1,000 is added for members assigned to SWAT Medical Team and for those assigned as Field Training Officers. In addition, a 5% incentive was added for members assigned to non-shift, excluding non-shift due to FMLA leave, workers’ compensation, Administrative Light Duty, Light Duty, etc.

Fiscal Impact:
Funding for the first year of the IAFF Collective Bargaining Agreement is available in the FY 2026 Operating Budget. Funding for FY 2027 and FY 2028 will be included in those subsequent fiscal years.
