Explanation:
The City of Hollywood Artwork Selection Committee (“Committee”) was created in June 1994 to review, select and display appropriate artwork, including photography, loaned or donated to the City for exhibition on the walls of the foyers and corridors of City Hall at 2600 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida.
The duties of the Committee include reviewing artwork that could be acquired by the City through commission, donation, or purchase for placement within City facilities.
The Committee is comprised of Members who are from the artistic and cultural community, are associated with artists in various media in Florida, and have leadership in numerous cultural organizations, which is an essential component when selecting board members to attract new talent to City Hall.

Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution will not fiscally impact the City, as this is to appoint five new Board members.
