Explanation:

The Department of Public Works has the responsibility to maintain, repair, and replace sidewalks, Citywide.  This includes tree removal, clearing and removing debris, separation, staging, and disposal of old concrete.  This is done to make the walkways and sidewalks safer for pedestrian traffic and the community.

The Department of Public Works would like to retain multiple concrete installation and repair vendors to provide concrete work and sidewalk repair Citywide.

On October 26, 2023, the Department of Public Works and the Office of Procurement and Contract Compliance issued an Invitation for Bid IFB-139-24-OT for the project of Citywide Concrete Installation and Repair, and the IFB was advertised on www.opengov.com <http://www.opengov.com>.

On December 5, 2023, IFB-139-24-OT was opened and resulted in bids from four firms:

1.                     Concrete Works & Paving Inc

2.                     Construction 95 LLC

3.                     FG Construction, LLC

4.                     The Stout Group, LLC

The Department of Public Works and the Office of Procurement and Contract Compliance met to evaluate and rank the four proposals.

Upon review of the proposals, the Selection Committee evaluated the firms based on the selection criteria established in the RFP and decided interviews and/or oral presentations were not necessary; therefore, the Selection Committee completed the evaluation and ranked the firms.  The firms were ranked as follows:

1.                     Concrete Works & Paving Inc.                                                               Ranked #1

2.                     Construction 95 LLC                                                                                                         Ranked #2

4.                     The Stout Group, LLC                                                                                                         Ranked #4
