Explanation:
The Department of Development Services requires the continued professional consultant services of GovForce Inc. for post go-live support to the stabilization, optimization, and ongoing implementation of the City’s Accela Permitting Software.
This Change Order increases the contract amount for the current renewal term from $300,000.00 to $450,000.00 and exercises the second renewal option for the period of February 21, 2027, through February 20, 2028, in an amount not to exceed $450,000.00.
Background
On August 4, 2026, the City launched Phase II of Accela, expanding the system’s capabilities and improving permitting, violations, and other related workflows. GovForce Inc. played an instrumental role in the configuration, customization, testing, and validation of Accela for Phase I stabilization and preparation for the Phase II implementation.
Continuing GovForce’s services will ensure the City can continue to refine and maximize the functionality of Accela.
Fiscal Impact:
Funding for this contract will be available in the FY 2027 Operating Budget in account number 114.140301.52400.531170.000000.000.000, subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
