Explanation:
The attached Resolution seeks approval to enter into a Blanket Purchase Agreement with Cleverciti Systems, Corp. for the purchase, installation, and ongoing support of a digital parking guidance and wayfinding signage system for the City of Hollywood. This system will provide real-time parking availability information and dynamic wayfinding to direct residents and visitors to available public parking garages and facilities throughout the downtown and the beach areas. The signage will integrate with the City’s existing parking guidance and space-counting systems, allowing for accurate, live parking data, improved traffic circulation, and enhanced customer experience. Following a formal competitive solicitation process (RFP-350-26-SA), Cleverciti Systems, Corp. was determined to be the highest-ranked, responsive, and responsible proposer based on the evaluation criteria outlined in the RFP. The proposed agreement includes a one-time upfront cost of up to $173,697.50 for the purchase and installation of the digital parking guidance and wayfinding signage system; a recurring monthly cost of $596.25 for cellular connectivity and cloud services, totaling up to $14,310.00 over the initial two year term; and a $50,000.00 contingency to address unanticipated maintenance, repairs, or equipment replacement not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, resulting in a total two year contract amount of up to $248,121.50.
Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for the attached agreement is available in the FY 2026 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Plan in account numbers 446.159901.54500.564531.001604.000.000 and 446.150101.54500.531170.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
