Explanation:
The desired equipment was competitively bid by Sourcewell pursuant to RFP #082923 and the current term of the contract is from November 13, 2023, through October 11, 2027, for New Holland Agricultural Tractor Model TS6.120 HC w/Beach Tires. Sourcewell subsequently entered into an agreement with CNH Industrial America LLC.
On July 11, 2023, Sourcewell awarded the bid to CNH Industrial America LLC and they have agreed to extend to the City of Hollywood the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Sourcewell Bid and contract. Glade & Grove Supply Co, LLC (“Glade & Grove”) is an authorized dealership for CNH Industrial America LLC under the Sourcewell-Agricultural Equipment Contract #082923-CNH-2.
The Department of Public Works is responsible for daily maintenance of the Broadwalk and keeping the beaches clean, eliminating seaweed, removing debris, and responding to emergency situations such as hurricanes and other natural disasters. The Department of Public Works is in dire need of an additional beach tractor.
The Director of Public Works and the Interim Director of the Office of Procurement and Contract Compliance recommend that the City Commission authorize the appropriate City officials to issue a purchase order to Glade & Grove Supply Co, LLC, for the purchase of a New Holland Agricultural Tractor Model TS6.120 HC w/Beach Tires for a one-time purchase in an amount not to exceed $122,680.86.

Funding for this Purchase Order is available in the amended FY 2024 Capital Improvement Plan and is available in account number 557.519901.51900.564520.001762.000.000
