Explanation:
The Department of Development Services requires professional consulting and project management services to support the execution of large-scale development projects. With a significant increase in such projects underway and anticipated over the next several years, the ability to augment staffing as needed is essential to meet growing demands. The Building and Planning and Urban Design Divisions within Development Service require these specialized workforce solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the Department.
Given the continued need to support and provide oversight of major projects in the City of Hollywood, the Department of Development Services seeks to renew the Blanket Purchase Agreement with PointTech Business Solutions LLC d/b/a OnPointe Government Solutions, LLC in an amount up to $410,000.00 for the first renewal term, covering the period from January 15, 2026, through January 15, 2027.
The proposed Agreement is intended to provide Consultant budgets per Division(s) up to the following amounts:
Building $185,000.00
Planning and Urban Design $225,000.00
This funding was anticipated in the individual contractual line items for Building and Planning and Urban Design pursuant to the adopted Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, and as such, this request is to only renew the contract.
Fiscal Impact:
A portion of the funding for this contract renewal is available in the FY 2026 Operating Budget in account numbers 114.140301.52400.531170.000000.000.000 and 001.140401.51500.531170.000000.000.000, and will be budgeted in subsequent fiscal years’ operating budgets subject to approval and adoption by the City Commission.
