Explanation:
The State Housing Initiatives Partnership ("SHIP Act"), Sections 420.907 through 420.9079, Florida Statutes, and Rule 67-37, Florida Administrative Code, requires local governments to develop a one- to three-year Local Housing Assistance Plan outlining how allocated funds will be used and requires local governments to annually report on the new and existing housing that benefits from awards made pursuant to the SHIP Act.
The Office of Housing and Community Development has prepared the attached State Housing Initiatives Partnership Program Final Annual Report for Fiscal Year 2022/2023 and Interim Annual Reports for Fiscal Years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 ("SHIP-AR") for transmittal to the Florida Housing Finance Corporation, in the best interest of the citizens and residents of the City of Hollywood, for review and approval.
The Office of Housing and Community Development recommends approval of the attached final annual SHIP-AR for Florida Fiscal Year 2022/2023 and of the interim Annual Reports for Florida Fiscal Years 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 and that the appropriate City officials are authorized to execute all documents and certifications required by the Florida Housing Finance Corporation as they relate to the attached SHIP-AR and to take such actions necessary to implement the attached SHIP-AR.
Fiscal Impact:
Approval of this Resolution will not fiscally impact the City.
