Explanation:
The Office of Parking requires an Agreement with a private service provider to perform cashiering services in the two (2) downtown parking garages.
The Office of Parking requires cashiering services at both Radius and Vanburen parking garages twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
On September 17, 2015, Notice of Bid Availability for Bid Number F-4481-15-JE was posted on the City’s Website, advertised and sent to 1652 firms on Bidsync.com in accordance with Section 38.42(A)(1) of the City’s Purchasing Ordinance.
Bid Number F-4481-15-JE was opened at 3:00 P.M. on September 17, 2015, and resulted in a response from four (4) bidders as set forth below:

The Procurement Services Division together with the Office of Parking evaluated all bids received and the bid submitted by LAZ Karp Associates, LLC d/b/a LAZ Florida Parking, LLC met all the requirements of the bid terms and conditions.
The Assistant City Manager/Interim Director of the Office of Parking and the Director of Procurement Services recommend that the City Commission approve award of the attached Blanket Purchase Order to LAZ Karp Associates, LLC d/b/a LAZ Florida Parking, LLC of Miami Beach, Florida for Parking Cashiering Services for a three (3) year period with an option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods for an estimated annual expenditure of $275,750.40.
Funding for the attached Blanket Purchase Order has been provided for in the fiscal year 2016 in the Office of Parking Budget Account Numbers as follows:
