Explanation:
The Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts desires to purchase LED sports lighting for Rotary Park as the lighting system is at the end of its expected usage and needs replacement.
The desired sports lighting systems replacement was competitively bid by Sourcewell through RFP No. 041123 for Sports Lighting Solutions with Related Technology, Equipment and Services on February 21, 2023, and awarded to Musco Sports Lighting, LLC (“Musco”) under Contract No. 041123-MSL (“Contract”). The current term of the Contract is from June 23, 2023, through June 16, 2027, with an option to renew the contract for up to three additional one-year renewals.
Musco has agreed to extend to the City the same pricing under the terms and conditions set forth in the Contract; and the period of performance during which the desired sports lighting systems replacement will be acquired is from September 16, 2026, through June 16, 2027, for an amount up to $800,000.00.
The Director of the Department of Parks, Recreation & Cultural Arts and the Director of Procurement and Performance Management recommend that the City Commission approve and authorize the issuance of a Master Services Agreement (“MSA”) with Musco for sports lighting systems replacement for the period from September 16, 2026, through June 16, 2027, in an amount up to $800,000.00.
