Explanation:
At the completion of each fiscal year’s budget, past program years are reviewed for program compliance. A review was conducted by the Department of Development Services, Community Development Division, and it was determined that there are un-expended CDBG and HOME program funds and Program Income as follows:
CDBG $355,000.77
HOME $229,606.63
HOME/CHDO $ 29,776.35
Staff has recommended uses for the aforementioned program funds and Program Income as follows:

Section 108 Debt Payment $266,301.00
Micro-Enterprise Lending $ 55,000.00
General Administration $ 33,699.77
Total CDBG Investment $355,000.77

Tenant-Based Rental Assistance $179,847.26
General Administration $ 19,983.02

Single Family Home Construction $ 29,776.35

The recommended uses of the aforementioned program funds and Program Income complies fully with applicable regulations and will facilitate additional resources for projects aimed at Section 108 Debt Payments, Tenant-Based Rental Assistance, Micro-Enterprise Lending, Single-Family Housing Construction and General Administration. The Community Development Advisory Board conducted a public hearing on June 12, 2019 to review the proposed amendments and forwarded a recommendation of approval to the City Commission.
